Bowling
Program Summary
The Bishop Miege Bowling program, established in 2005, offers both varsity and junior varsity teams for boys and girls, providing student-athletes with the opportunity to develop their skills in a competitive and supportive environment. Since its inception, the program has fostered a strong tradition of teamwork and sportsmanship, highlighted by the boys 5-1A State Championship victory in 2007. With dedicated coaching and a commitment to excellence, Miege bowling continues to qualify individuals for Regionals and State.

Matt Eshelbrenner
Coach Matt Eshelbrenner has been a cornerstone of the Bishop Miege bowling program since its inception. He began as the assistant head coach and, in 2007—his first year as head coach—led the Boys team to a 5-1A State Championship. His leadership and dedication have helped establish a strong foundation for Miege bowling.
In addition to bowling, Coach Eshelbrenner has contributed to multiple Stag athletic programs, coaching football, basketball, and softball over the years. His commitment to student-athletes and passion for coaching continue to make a lasting impact at Bishop Miege.
