Rooted in Tradition and Sacraments, students are formed for society and sainthood. Through daily prayer, the Sacraments, and a commitment to service, students at Bishop Miege Catholic High School are nurtured in faith and virtue. Grounded in the richness of Catholic teaching, students learn to discern truth, cultivate compassion, and respond to God’s call in their lives. They are equipped not only to succeed in the world, but also to transform it as faithful witnesses of Christ.

Our Campus Ministry involves the entire community. Everyone — faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and especially students — are companions in a shared ministry.

There are a variety of opportunities for students to use their God-given gifts and talents including:

We believe serving others helps them see the face of Christ, which is why we ask them to complete at least 80 service hours. Many go beyond this requirement, discovering purpose through giving back.

Special service opportunities:

    • Prayer and Action summer mission trip in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas
    • Mission trips to Dunlow, West Virginia, over spring/summer break
    • March for Life in Washington, D.C.
    • Topeka Rally for Life

Students can enhance their prayer life and develop a deeper friendship with Jesus Christ through:

    • All School Mass
    • Weekly Masses in the St. Angela Merici Chapel
    • Weekly morning Rosary
    • Lectio Divina prayer in class and prayer groups
    • Weekly exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
    • Summit Nights of adoration and fellowship
    • Reconciliation Services during Advent and Lent with weekly opportunities for individual confessions
