CHEER
Program Summary
The Bishop Miege cheer team is a passionate group of student-athletes, who are committed to generating school spirit at athletic and school events. The varsity cheer team placed 2nd in Class 4A at the 2024 KSHSAA Game Day Showcase. At the 2024 NCA summer camp, the V and JV teams earned superior ribbons for Cheer and Band Chant + Chant, S.T.U.N.T. Safe Award, Herkie Team Award, and Technical Excellence Awards for Motions & Stunts. Miege cheer continues to set the standard for spirit, skill, and teamwork.

Taryn Frank
Taryn Frank took over as head coach in 2023 after spending six years as an assistant coach with the Bishop Miege cheer program. A graduate of Benedictine College, Coach Frank was a collegiate cheerleader. That experience has shaped her approach to coaching, with a focus on team culture, technical growth, and school spirit.
