Bridge to the Future
Bridge to the Future: Expanding Access, Growing Impact
What began in 2008 with a single student has grown into a vital scholarship lifeline for hundreds of families. Last year alone, 305 students received support from the Bridge to the Future (BTF) scholarship program, a powerful reminder of how one act of generosity can grow into a transformative movement.
Since its inception, the BTF program has awarded $6.2 million in scholarships through 2024–2025. This support directly empowers students and families seeking the lifelong value of faith-based, college-preparatory education.
Donate to Bridge to the Future
Together, we can bridge the gap for hundreds more students, just as we did for that very first recipient back in 2008.
Your support is more critical than ever. Today, 47% of Bishop Miege students depend on BTF scholarships to access a Catholic education.
And now, the future looks even brighter.
We’re thrilled to share that $4.5 million in gifts have already been committed toward our $5 million goal. Once achieved, this milestone will increase our BTF endowment to over $20 million, ensuring that the mission of accessibility and opportunity continues for generations to come.
Many scholarships have been established in honor and memory of loved ones. All of our named scholarship funds are held by the Bishop Miege Foundation in the Bridge to the Future endowment.
Any amount can establish a named fund in the endowment and the fund is open to additional contributions moving forward. In addition, scholarships are awarded in the chosen fund name, if desired, to qualified recipients based upon need once the fund has reached $50,000, and on increments of $50,000 moving forward on a 4% basis.
Example: $50,000 = one $2,000 scholarship annually
$100,000 = $4,000 in scholarships annually
